Recently I read a little book by Simon Sinek, Together is Better, a little book of inspiration.
The thoughts were so simple, yet so clearly portrayed.
Here is a couple quotes in the book that I particularly liked:
"There's only one way to avoid criticism; do nothing,
say nothing, and be nothing."
~Aristotle
"To go fast, go alone; To go far, go together." ~African proverb
So take the adventure, continue the walk with me,
for I know that together is better for sure
and to do nothing we are nothing.
Let us plan on moving forward with JOY and laughter.
We will survive and be better for it.
"What good is an idea if it remains an idea?
Try. Experiment. Iterate, Fail. Try again. Change the world."
~Simon Sinek
What are you willing to step out and do?
What is your most outrageous intention?
I have some ideas that challenge my thinking,
which I will share along the way.
The picture shows three gaiwans for tea.
Together we can share tea and share the adventure.
Don't forget the give away mentioned last Friday.
Tomorrow is the drawing.

Love those Chinese gaiwans - of course white or cream dishware is always my favorite! Tea must look good served in them.
ReplyDeleteLove that last quote "What good is an idea.......etc." Really makes me think.
My most "outrageous intention" is a huge challenge - involves another trip to a far off wild place, BUT I doubt I can get a certain man to go along, such a shame! Instead I may have to work on more simple travels. . . . . . .so Portland again is on the list!
Happy day dear friend - so cold here and, due to overnight freezes for three nights, we have lost a lot of spring blooming flowers and I think my fig crop!
Hugs - Mary
Such inspirational little quotes - all very good to remember!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd like that book... such beautiful, uplifting inspiration! Together is ALWAYS better! :) I'm looking into volunteer options in my area, as that is something I've been wanting to do for some time. It's not outrageous, it's from the heart...always a good thing. ;) LOVE the tea gaiwans image... it pairs so well with your post. Happy Days, Marilyn... Looking forward to hearing/seeing of your outrageous intention/adventure! :) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a wonderful little book and I love the quotes you chose. Yes, things are always better together!
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day -- everyone is Irish!
Excellent advice!
