Beginning at the Italian garden in Butchart Gardens
we strolled with friends.
A stop to view the bay nearby.
Eventhough it is the 4th of July here,
in Canada they were preparing for their 150th celebration.
The roses were exploding everywhere.
Then with a walk through the sunken garden.
It was a beautiful day.
Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC, Canada is the perfect place
to just celebrate each day.
With all the traveling the past month,
I still have some sharing to do from the southwest too.
Hope those of you from Canada had a delightful Canada Day.
Happy 4th of July to my friends here in the states.
I hope you have time today to go out and smell the roses.
This place is beautiful. Just my kind of place, Marilyn. Look at all the pretty roses, and everything is so green and groomed. What a lovely picture overlooking the gardens with the people walking by. That arch picture is so charming. This is a great place to visit. That light pink rose is my favorite. : )
ReplyDeleteHappy fourth of July.

ReplyDeleteBreathtaking beauty around every corner!
ReplyDeleteOne of my most favorite gardens in the world! Have been twice and so hope to return again.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying your time in beautiful Victoria, BC
Mary -
I've not yet been to see the rose garden in bloom. This beautiful post is a great reminder to do that soon. So glad you enjoyed your time in Victoria.
ReplyDeleteThe gardens in Victoria are absolutely breathtaking! We are going on an Alaska cruise with my sweetheart's family next month. Victoria is our last stop before disembarking in Seattle. We will be there in the evening and one of our possible shore excursions is Butchart Gardens at night. I imagine that will be quite beautiful and magical. Thanks for sharing your stroll through the gardens with us.
