Tasha Tudor's Birthday

In celebration of Tasha Tudor's birthday week I am
sharing a Christmas tea party from the past.
The theme was an Old Fashioned Tasha Tudor Tea Party.
Cookies were made using a dove cookie cutter from the
Tasha Tudor store.
There were baskets of apples, doves, chickens, and cornucopias for each guest.
And celebrating Tasha with a dollhouse
all decorated for the season.

Many of the recipe inspirations came from Tasha's cookbook.

The tea served was Tasha's Welsh English Breakfast.
 Doves hung above the table
and candles flickered in the winter light.
Always remembering Tasha Tudor and the delights
she added to our imaginations and creative inspirations.

  1. What a delightful tea party, Marilyn. This is so pretty with the lit-up Christmas tree, the red candles, the desserts, and oh, those dove cookies! I love children's books, and have a collection of them. That doll house is darling. I've been really wanting a doll house, and what fun it would be to deck it out for the holidays. Your tea parties are always so special and heartwarming.
