Dahlia Day

 Today on Facebook someone said it is dahlia days.
A perfect time to just share flowers on a peaceful
morning at Swan Island Dahlia Farm in Canby, Oregon.

    Dahlias are such showy, stunning flowers. My mom used to grow them and my neighbor does now. Just love 'em! This place is fabulous!

    These are so pretty, Marilyn. I have to go to the nursery to see these flowers. I don't see them around my neck of the woods. Dahlia's look like a sturdy flower, and so lovely. Thanks for sharing these pics of the Dahlia Farm. I love the ones where you can see rows and rows of them. : )

    Beautiful! And so close to my home. I think I shall take my early morning walk down the road to the dahlia fields soon. It's so close and I love walking in the fields when they are in bloom.

    A dahlia farm--how wonderful! I do love the flowers, but they are big plants, especially with many grouped together, and I think that's why I've not really tried them before--lack of space... LOL! LOVE all the pink ones. ;) ((HUGS))
