Angels came down
From heaven yesterday,
Stayed with me just long enough
for afternoon tea.
And she told me a story yesterday;
About the sweet love
Between the moon and the deep blue sea.
~Jimi Hendrix

Tea by the "deep blue sea" just a few days ago.
The teapot travels with me on road trips
and traveled to the sea just last week.

Oh Marilyn, I can see what you wanted the sea! This is a gorgeous photo. I hope your birthday weekend was super-happy and filled with lots of love, joy and tea.
ReplyDeleteRick told me the best part of his time in Portland was spending time with you, tea, home, the whole bit!
Lovely.....
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you enjoyed your visit to the sea. :-)
Dreamy......pour me a cup too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got to see the ocean. I long to see it sometime, and whenever I'm at Jess' house, I visit there, as she's only five minutes from the ocean. It's nice that you bring this tea pot with you when you travel. What a pretty picture, Marilyn. Love the Jimi Hendrix quote. : )

by the way, just wanted to answer your question.....those books were displayed at a shop when me and Jess went shopping one day. She didn't read the books, she just took a picture cause they looked pretty all stacked up. : )
That is a cool quote! What is the name of the song?
ReplyDeleteJimi Hendrix was remarkable. His lyrics here are so unexpected.
ReplyDeleteSweet Henrdix lyrics! TJ & I are Hendrix fans, so this was fun to see. And to see your traveling teapot out on an adventure to the seaside!! LOVE this photo! Tea by the seas tastes extra good... mmm... ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteHow did you get that sky to smile for you for this photo? Beautiful! All of it!
