Springtime in the Garden

Springtime in the garden beckons me to have tea.

 Won't you join me there.
The daffodils are blooming.
We can sit and savor each sip as we giggle and share stories
of life in a simpler time.
My grandfather's Haviland china is the guest of honor on this table.
Violets and daisies decorate each plate and cup.
The softness of pink tulips, my heart rejoices!
Pastel colors and blossoms just sing to my heart of Springtime.
Sponge cakes with lemon curd fit perfectly into the delights of the day.
English Breakfast tea sits in our cups
and we sip with JOY.
Happy Springtime, dear friends!
Find time to savor each day with JOY.

  1. This is such a beautiful post-- the photos, the sentiments and the tea table. Simply beautiful. I so wish my friends like tea time as much as I do. It would be lovely to just sit, relax and share on this delightful ritual. Thank you for sharing these beauties.

  2. Love the pink teapot. :-)

    And all the spring colors...

Cold and rainy and dark here. Hard to maintain a spring time mood.

    But glad you have flowers.

  8. How beautiful your setting is - a garden tea with beautiful china, and the excuse to do nothing but drink tea and visit sounds perfect. It's going to be awhile before it's warm enough here to drink tea outdoors!
