And don't think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter.
It's quiet, but the roots are down there riotous.
~Rumi
The crocus are beginning to show their beautiful faces
in my garden.
Sometimes through the snow this past week I still see them.
They are persistent and for that I love them.
Search for those little things each day.

How lovely to see the Purple little crocuses sprout up through the snow. I like your quote today, Marilyn. Rumi quotes are often delightful. : )

I LOVE the thought of the roots, under ground, having a party all winter long! ;) So they're not sleeping, but partying... haha! Happy Week, my friend ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see little signs of Spring and to see amazing crocus emerging are a delight.
ReplyDeleteI love this color crocus - sadly I don't have any. My daffs and bluebells are pushing up steadily though and I can just see the tip of a pink hyacinth by the back gate, lovely and of course always so fragrant!
