I worked in my little piece of God's earth today. It was a perfect day weather wise, pure, non-humid still air, and a cloudless Carolina Blue sky. The birds were joyful in their songs and, when I refilled the feeders, came to eat and sip fresh water at the bird bath. I hosed off the outdoor cushions from the porch, and a little rivulet of yellow pollen ran down the driveway. . . . . . then we sat for a while enjoying an aperitif grateful that our life was peaceful and safe for now.

Oh, I love this quote, Marilyn, as you know how much I love nature. And those pretty Purple flowers really got to me.
ReplyDeleteI hope the remainder of your April days are wonderful.

LOVELY! I'm a day late to some of the party... but it's never too late for an Earth party! ;) Happy week, Marilyn ((HUGS))
