A Gift for You - A Flower and A Poem

  Let it Be
When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
Let is be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be
And when the brokenhearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer
Let it be
For though they may be parted
There is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer
Let it be
Let is be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Yeah, there will be an answer
Let it be
Let is be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be
Let is be, let it be
Let it be, yeah, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be
And when the night is cloudy
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine on 'til tomorrow
Let it be
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be, yeah
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, yeah, let it be
Oh, there will be an answer
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, yeah, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be

What a difference a day makes.
The top picture is yesterday and the lower one today.
Some days we just have to learn to "let it be".
My word for this year is "be" and this is indeed is a good learning experience.
In times of trouble just "let it be".

Sending love from the snowy Pacific Northwest.

  1. Muscari is one of my favorites. I feel your snow frustration. Good for you for being to "let it be."

  2. Marilyn, I got tears in my eyes reading your post, as this song is very special to me. And I love Mother Mary. She is always in my heart. What a difference in the flower pictures; one with snow, one without. I thought Spring came here, but it rained and snowed a bit this morning, so I'll have to wait awhile for Spring. Your photo of the purple flowers covered in snow is really pretty. I will come back and read your post again this week, Marilyn. It spoke to my heart more than you know.

  4. Can you believe we had snow yesterday - and they say possibility for more tomorrow...I live in the Tualatin area...you? Thank you for the reminder of the lyrics to that song - so appropriate!
