Eventhough afternoon tea at the Pomeroy House was simple, it was one of my favorites.
I will miss it.

It is so sad when a tea room closes. I wonder if it didn't have enough business or if the owner just grew weary of it. At least it will be open for special occasions.
ReplyDeleteAlice, I guess I should have said why it was closing. Pomeroy House is part of the Pomeroy Living History Museum, which is a family run farm and business on a historic farm. The elder couple ran the tearoom and gift shop for many years, but are near 80 years old and felt they just couldn't do it any longer. The younger family members are more involved in other farm events.
ReplyDeleteHere's a cheer for this tearoom, and may they enjoy their retirement! And I'm glad there will be special events!
