Red is one of my favorite colors and I think it is
so appropriate for celebrating the New Year.

The tea in my cup is my latest 'kick' --- a simple cuppa of Tazo Awake --- fast and easy with all the disarray of my now being remodeled kitchen.

A belated Happy New Year! And what a lovely way to celebrate it, with tea shared with friends??!! As for red, it's one of my favourite colours too. I have touches of it throughout my apartment and my desk is red (except for the top). One of the things I loved the last time I was in San Francisco's Chinatown was all the red lanterns and touches of colour everywhere I looked.
Such a pretty setting Marilyn. A friend from Taiwan was so happy it was new years. She loved sharing her celebration traditions with me yesterday.
