Strong Women - Lady Bird Johnson

Wildflowers along the road sides.
Mrs. Johnson's environmental awareness inspired a deep interest in conservation and beautification.

    I remember always admiring Lady Bird Johnson. She truly had to be one strong woman to handle LBJ.

    When she started to encourage the wildflowers...I remember her doing this.

    We visited the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center when we recently visited Austin, TX. It is a lovely place to visit.
