Golden Colors of Autumn

Autumn always brings back a vividness of golden warm colors.
Autumn was created to warm our hearts in preparation for the cold white of winter.
Touches of the warmth of autumn have begun appearing inside my home.
Flowers tucked into my favorite copper kettle.
The French pumpkins on the porch and the masks sitting on my mantle remind me of happy Autumn travels.
Do you decorate your home with the colors of Autumn?
What special touches begin appearing in your home?
Autumn to me is a time of preparing and savoring the touches of color.

  6. I like your new banner with your fall decor, very pretty!

Yes, I like to decorate for fall, especially since Florida doesn't change seasons.

  7. Your new banner is lovely, Marilyn... as are these photos today--such coziness & comfort radiates from them. While I love the colors of autumn, I find in my living space at home I don't do a lot of color change with the season, preferring to keep the cool color palette of white, cream, beige with touches of soft blue & aqua all through the year. I keep the color burst for other creativity. ;o) Must say, love that big copper kettle you have, and that quilt--gorgeousness! Happy Day, my friend ((HUGS))

  8. Beautiful photos! I am about to go back to Wisconsin (by car this time!), so I'm planning to quilt when it's not my turn to drive. Your fall-hued quilt is singing to me!

  9. Oh, my goodness -- these photos are so beautiful. Did you make that quilt? If you did, I'm shaking my head in awe! I'm a quilt collector but can't sew a stitch! Love yoru dancing clown, the masks and as a copper fan -- well, you know I love those!
