Sunday afternoon was a glorious autumn day here in Portland.
Only a 10 minute drive from my home is the Columbia River.
There is a lovely bike and walking trail along the river.
On one side you see the views I am showing here and
on the other side is the Portland International Airport.
Across the river is Vancouver, Washington.
It brought great delight and JOY to my heart to
walk along the trail enjoying a beautiful day in autumn.
Don't forget the give away on Monday's post.
Leave a comment or email me to be in the drawing.

Seeing this beautiful mosaic is bringing delight to my heart right now.
I spent a weekend with my book club in Point Reyes recently. It was a weekend of laughter, stories, dancing, and beauty. Can't wait for next year's adventure.
Well, what's bringing delight to my heart is the mental picture of me walking along that same path with you one summer or fall day in the future and just enjoying every second. Lovely!
So lovely...today I was amazed at the beauty of the fall trees...stunning..every year I am just in wonder and forget the amazing sight of the past year. The colours are brillant! xoxo
Such a pretty mosaic! Reuniting with one of my oldest dearest friends has brought me so much delight!!! Such a blessing.
Joy and delight - a cool breeze the day after a 90 degree day in October. It ruffled my hair, kissed my skin, and felt so darn good.
GORGEOUS water-side views, Marilyn! Here it feels so wintry already. Your photos have such warmth in the air yet... So much delights me all the time. This week a special delight has been joining in on a knitting cafe get-together group I used to attend but had dropped a bit when things go busy... great fun to be going again, meeting others who love knitting and share patterns, etc. :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
Our gorgeous Fall weather and sunny days have brought joy to my heart. I hate to see them end but hope someday to walk the trail along the river's edge - in the sun. Maybe I can walk there with you!

What recently brought joy to my heart? Walking along the same river, just several hundred miles upstream. I should send you a message in a bottle...
Yesterday we went to a local amusement park called Silver Dollar City. There was a western band playing and hosting a dance. Mom and I went to watch the couples dance. Oh, how happy they made me.
Delight to my heart? Picking lemons, or this time of year, pomegranates and persimmons. It truly is heaven looking up at the sky through the leaves of a fruit tree and knowing all this beautiful fruit can feed someone.
BTW, love your photo collage. Can you possibly (please) teach me how to do that in blogger? Happy thoughts.
