How does your inner landscape look today?
Peeking inside your heart?
Is it heavy
sweet smelling
full of tears
full of love
smiling
joyful?
Take a peek
sort of like a doctor's check up
and notice what you notice today.
Be gentle with yourself
and fill your inner landscape with
images that feed your soul.
How do you do that, you say?
Sometimes it is listening to music that is gentle,
reading beautiful poetry,
walking in a garden and relishing the beauty there,
or just looking at beautiful pictures.
Take care and treat yourself gently today and always.

ReplyDeleteLovely post, Marilyn! Stargazer lilies were what I carried in my wedding bouquet, 15 years ago this month. :-)

ReplyDeleteGreat post, thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post Marilyn, too late for today, blogger problems, but will be taken to heart tomorrow. Thank-you for your insight, and awesome words of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS lily image, Marilyn! And you know I love your Spirit Mondays. After some sad, tough days recently here, I am consciously taking time and action to re-connect with my inner joy and bring it forth. Meditation, yoga, and delights for the senses lift up spirit extra much just now. Happy Week, my friend :o) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding us to check our inner heart condition, so we can surround others with beauty and a sweet aroma!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Darlene
Speaking of feeding your soul, my trip west sure has. I've been a blogging slacker lately. Jeffrey and Sloane were gone for two weeks and I spent those two weeks blessedly alone and virtually unplugged. Now we're on a two week trip. In Arizona now and I have a bit of time on the computer - finally! I was having withdrawls from being away from my blogger buddies so long, I tell you. I hope your summer continues to be as beautiful as it looks here. Love to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful!! How did you do it?
