Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

I don't see one star in this picture, do you?
I can't help it!
Every time holiday lights start making an appearance,
I sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".
Why you ask?
It's the lights.
I love the lights during December and
yes, I start loving them after Thanksgiving is finished.
Am I too early?
I don't think so.
I need all the light I can get as the days become darker.
So this year I do BELIEVE I will leave my lights up all winter long.
In my heart I will be singing.
Come along with me and let your heart sing.

  1. My tree is up but all it has on it are the lights! I love the feeling the lights give so I'm not worried that I haven't had time to decorate the tree yet. It will happen but, in the meantime, I'm just enjoying the beauty of the lights. Your tree is beautiful!

  4. Love your tree! I totally agree with you, it's all about the lights. My hubby did the outside before Thanksgiving, and I hope to have my decorating done by this weekend. I love the sparkle and glow of the twinkle lights and they bring such a cheery welcome to our homes! Wishing you a week filled with sparkle and love! Hugs!

  6. It is lovely to see the holiday lights everywhere. We don't have any on our house this year, but our next door neighbor has enough for the both of us. :-)

  11. Never too early. I leave my little white lights up in the kitchen year round, too. They cheer me, especially in the dark of winter!
