Traveling Tea Party

When traveling by car I always have a basket with
my little green teapot, small cups, and tea.
There are always extras so that I can share tea
with anyone I might meet.
Occasionally I will even tuck in a special chocolate bar
or cookies too.
It has become my traveling tea party.
Do you travel with a tea party in your car?
What do you carry with you to make your road trip special?

  1. I don't carry one with me unless I'm in our cabin-on-wheels. Maybe I should put together a little traveling set so I can share tea along the way.

  4. How sweet and special indeed.
I am never far from a Starbucks when I travel so that is my treat to get my skinny vanilla latte♥

  5. This is soooo charming! I always carry tea making supplies, sometimes even a small electric kettle- but to add in the teapot and small cups is wonderful! Thank you for the lovely simplicity of it.

  9. You are brilliant! I've never thought of packing a traveling tea party before, but now that I've read this post it seems absolutely essential--a must have along with my emergency first aid kit! Tea is its own kind of first aid, after all. Love your green tea pot. xo

  10. What a wonderful idea. When we go to the shore, I always take our favorite teacups and teas, so that we can feel cozy and at home whether in a beach house or hotel. (Sometimes the hotair popcorn popper comes along, too.) I most love the social aspect of what you're doing, though.

  11. I love this idea, Marilyn... a traveling tea party! I don't travel with tea in such great style as this, but I usually do have a thermos flask with my fave tea brew, Norway is such coffee country. And while an occasional java has crossed my lips, I am a tea devotee... so I must have tea on the road, just in case. ;o) Next trip, I just need to add more treats! Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
