Souls Blossom's

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy:
They are the charming gardeners
who make our souls blossom.
~Marcel Proust

I have always dreamt of having a Primrose Lane in my yard.
This photo taken at our local garden show recently
reminded me to again dream of Primrose Lane's.
What are you dreaming of for the garden?
Get out this weekend and enjoy seeing what the
beginnings of Spring are bringing to you.

  1. What am I dreaming of? Hah, that is easy. Less dirt. More color.

  2. I'd love some primroses, too. It just gets too hot here when spring finally arrives. I did see them a long time ago in Wales and they were such a sight.♥♫

  3. The picture shows a wonderful planting. How lucky it is that you can look in on others when you do not have. I have many primulas. They thrive in my clay soil and partial shade. But even the snow in my yard. I dream about seeing the first snowdrop and crocus. Have a nice weekend! Zinnia

  6. I love the first flowers of Spring! The few warm days this week really helped bring on the first flowers. The time change tonight will make it really seem that Spring is around the corner.

  9. Well, yes, someone else to do the work lol. But seriously, the front fence covered with roses and forsythis and elderberries andmore roses and more forsythia. So far, I have 5 plants in. But spring is a long way off, although I did hear a prothonotary warbler singing his little heart out.

  10. A Primrose Lane... Oh, I love the idea of that, Marilyn! I've long wanted a butterfly garden--flower/plants that a attract butterflies, and the patch be in the shape of a butterfly. Or a rainbow garden, arch-shaped and all the rainbow colors. :o) We're just back from a walk, and noticing the first of the crocuses spiraling up--spring soon! Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

  11. Oh, I am in full garden-planning mode right now, checking my little seedlings every day. I had decided my Green Zebra tomatoes weren't coming up, but lo and behold, a few hours in the sun over the weekend and they've popped up to greet me. I am also in the market for a wonderful *old* and well-loved watering can. Funny that I go into garden stores and all I can think is that I want the scruffy version of their goodies!
