As I have shared before, the sunflowers in our garden came from a gift from God planted by the birds.
Now I see why, they knew they would need breakfast some day soon.
So when I peaked outside my kitchen window this week this is what I saw.
I just love sharing my garden and my morning with nature.
It brings a song to my heart and JOY to my soul.
Are you sharing breakfast with nature where you live?
Are you delighting in the day?
Now just tell them to leave my figs alone,
they were planted by us and we are waiting for the sun to ripen them!
Just smiling! Can I share?
Happy weekend, dear friends!

How pretty Marilyn, awesome pics! I enjoyed breakfast while admiring the beautiful roses and morning glories outside my window. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI love sunflowers too! I have some drying on my back porch right now --- that I'll mix in with some other flowers in a bowl for winter cheer. What a lovely scene from your kitchen window!
ReplyDeleteJoy to you and joy to all of us, too. Thank you for sharing. Happy weekend, friend.
ReplyDeleteMarilyn,
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures. Sunflowers are so beautiful and the added factor of the birds feeding off the seeds- a good thing. Thank you for the post.
The gold finch have been enjoying the sunflowers that planted themselves from the bird feeder. They are such happy flowers.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any volunteer sunflowers in my yard for 2-3 years now. I think the birdies have changed their flight pattern. **sigh**
ReplyDeleteNature is absolutely divine.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are a friend of mine.
Thanks for all you share.
Love Jeanne♥
Your post makes me smile. Nature is so beautiful, and so playful, isn´t it :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Sunday.
I love to see the vegetables going to seed in our allotment as well as the blackberries in the surrounding hedge knowing they are shared with the birds.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning the give away!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet... and the light so lovely too! Breakfast with the birds, I love that! I like fine mornings during the spring/summer when it is possible to sit on the deck and take my morning tea with birdsong and sunshine. :o) Happy Days, Marilyn ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteWhat charming photos! I like the way the light is falling on the sunflowers and the birds. Terrific!
