The morning sun is shining like a glorious hello,
saying come join me as we share a cup of tea in the garden.
Soon, very soon the clouds will come and the rain will fall.
Step out into the morning and enjoy tea in the sun.
Have a delightful weekend.
I hope the sun is shining and you have time to sit in the garden
and savor the moment under the sun.
Maybe you are reading a special book while sitting there too.
What tea and what book would you take to the garden today?

Beautiful pictures! I will be sure to take some time to enjoy tea & garden today. Thank you for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteFirst, I totally enjoy Shelley's work. I can't think of anything that would be more relaxing than tea, a garden and poetry!
ReplyDeleteYour basket looks so beautiful and inviting Marilyn. The sun is shining now after a very rainy morning.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading a series called Tales From Grace Chapel Inn. Beautiful books. A good cup of herbal tea sounds so awesome right now,as soon as the swing dries that's where I'm headed!
Looks like a beautiful beginning of a great day, love the photos, enjoy.
ReplyDeleteGood evening, Marilyn. You gave us a very lovely morning.
ReplyDeleteMorning Marilyn. Your basket looks so pretty. I love your poetry book with the rose design. A devotional or a book of poems and tea would start my day well.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
Wonderful filtered light. It's a beauty of an autumn day here.
ReplyDeleteLots of sun here too...tomorrow I plan to spend some time in it! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteLove the filtered sunlight on your pretty basket! I would love to take tea in the garden this morning - Earl Grey, perhaps. And a few chapters from a sweet, contemporary love story I'm reading in bits and pieces.

What beautiful vignettes these photos, Marilyn! Books and tea... the perfect companions. It's an early autumn day here, chilly, so a robust Assam or Ceylon tea sounds good right now. And for my book it would have to be the collected poems of Robert Frost. :o) Happy Week, my friend ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteHmmm ... it's raining here so I don't guess I'll be in the garden today. (But grateful for the rain! No complaints!)
ReplyDeletePouring the rain here, but I will read my Perfect Places for Afternoon Tea (in Britain) book and pretend I'm in the garden!
ReplyDeleteI would read my new Tea Celebrations book from Tea Time magazine.
ReplyDeleteI could just see this on a Moo card. Or your Moo business card! They were my product find! This is such a warm, inviting and lovely photo! Happiness, my friend!
