A Blessing at Meal Time

My grandson sits with us at meals now when he comes to visit.
His parents are teaching him this song as the meal blessing.
I am touched that his mama is recalling a time as a child
when she learned this song at summer camp.
Little D just smiles when we hold hands
and sing at the beginning of the meal.

    Thanks so much for this link! I will share it with my daughters. We learned it when I was a Brownie Girl Scout leader and sang it many times together as a family at the dinner table. Enjoy your grandson!

    What a sweet blessing at mealtime and any other time! I can just visualize his little smile. One of these days he will start singing, too!

    AAAAh! Lovely. Little D already big enough to be sitting down for meals with his adoring grandparents....how fast they grow.

    We're on the first lag of the journey west - checked in at the airport hotel - light supper - early bedtime - alarm set for 3:15 AM to grab that early flight!
