Walking in the park is one of my loves.
Just walking in my neighborhood delights.
If you have been reading my blog for awhile
you will know that I love to walk where I live.
My problem is that I get so busy with life
that I don't take the time to walk in the park.
Do you do this too?
Today the challenge is on for you and for me.
Let's take a walk where we live and delight in the day.
Find those umbrellas, mittens, hats, warm coats, and walking shoes
and go walking.
Enjoy and Savor!

We live by hiking trails, and since September it has been cool enough to hike before it gets dark. We hit a trail almost daily, and we will be able to do so until sometime in May.
ReplyDeleteI'm so good walking when it's lovely. And so bad doing it when wet or cold!
ReplyDeleteYes, I enjoy walking in the park near where I live. I take my chihuahua along and she loves it too!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely wanting to get out and walk now it's cooler - and I may even be discovered jumping in piles of leaves along the way!
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed some walking in Washington over the weekend - the only way to enjoy cities really, the interesting street scenes are always such fun.
I'm getting ready to 'do' T-giving now - hopefully I can remember how to roast a bird, haven't done one in several years! Jasmin insisted I do it as I'v been MIA the past couple of holidays - how can Grandmas say no.
Sorry I've been tardy with commenting dear - not enough hours, you know how it is!!!
Think of you daily though, especially at teatime.
Much love to you both - Mary
My day is busy but I think I'll take a few minutes to stop and walk in the park. I drive past it often and I love watching people enjoy time there - but I hardly even stop. Today may be the day! It's a tiny park but a place where time seems to stop and smiles can be seen by everyone there.

Looks like you have a lot of pretty places to walk out in your neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteIt seems you have a pine wood in your park so it must be a big one and I imagine it's a pleasant place to take a walk.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely place to walk! I did take a long walk in the cold today - all bundled up with a winter coat, scarf and hat. But the sun was shining, so it was delightful.
