My Home

A peak into my home at Christmas.

And the stockings were hung.
The quilt is a very old family quilt, which is too fragile to use.

A vintage shop rounder, which normally holds
my collection of vintage children's clothes.

Happy 2014 and Merry Christmas!

  9. I want to walk right into your house and live there at Christmas! It's dazzlingly beautiful! Like "Country Living" beautiful! So festive. I was looking for a detail to pick out especially, except I couldn't decide! But how clever to repurpose the rounder for the season! That quilt is a gem -- and the baby buggies -- oh, it's all great!

    Merry Christmas!

  12. Oh Marilyn your home is looking so beautiful for Christmas.
All your most loved and precious decorations are wonderful - the magnificent quilt, the little sleigh full of toys and those vintage baubles hanging on the rounder.

I love vintage children's clothes too especially babies dresses which I look for when I'm in France. Another thing we have in common!!

I will be decorating my tree today (very late I know but I've been working and playing over the last two weeks)!!
I will put the Christmas music on and reminisce about Christmases past and family who have gone...

    Hugs

  15. Love how your decorations are lighting up your pretty home dear - a lot of work but worth it, right! I recall the vintage clothes which were lovely, this rounder is a great idea for the Christmas ornaments too.

  16. I have enjoyed scrolling down all your Christmas posts! Your home decorations are so pretty! Is that a little sled holding those toys by the tree? So neat! Also the vintage shop rounder!

I look forward to seeing more posts of your adorable little grandson! I'm sure you will be making gingerbread with him someday, and taking more tea!

    Happy New Year!
