Children are what Christmas is About.
Delightful!
Exasperating!
Funny!
Joyful!
My church is very small, so all ages participated in the Christmas program.
We couldn't help laughing at the one in the front row on the left side.
My husband said "there is always one" and he definitely entertained.
That is what Christmas is all about.
Hearing the laughter,
seeing the smiles,
and listening to the Christmas music.

I don't go to church, but I've found the smaller ones (like the one my dad and stepmom attend) to be the best. A more intimate experience.
ReplyDeleteOh I agree - it's the children that make Christmas for me - the wonder and expectation on those beautiful little faces.... waiting for THE day!!!
ReplyDeleteChildren always have lovely voices - a joy to listen to.
Marilyn, I've been working for two weeks - I'm sending you an email at the weekend!!!

My niece just had her school Christmas program last night. Wish I could have been there!
ReplyDeleteI love this. The kids are so cute -- and you're right -- there is always "one."
ReplyDeleteHow sweet and special indeed.
ReplyDeleteMuch love and many blessings

Enjoyed seeing the children in your church Christmas program. We went to our grandchildren's Christmas program last Sunday, and this Nana took the camera, but left the battery at home sitting in the charger!!! I'm waiting for my son to E-mail me his pictures. Christmas is, indeed, all about children.
ReplyDeleteWe attended our neighbors' church on Sunday specifically to see their granddaughter in the Christmas festivities. The children were adorable and the music fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBTW, this church was huge, and it was lovely to see so many young people attending.
Hugs - Mary
Yes, my favorite thing about Christmas pageants and plays is always that one kid (God bless him or her!) who marches to the beat of a different drummer!
ReplyDeleteThis really puts a smile on my face and you are so right about the children ♥
