What Christmas is About

Children are what Christmas is About.
Delightful!
Exasperating!
Funny!
Joyful!

My church is very small, so all ages participated in the Christmas program.
We couldn't help laughing at the one in the front row on the left side.
My husband said "there is always one" and he definitely entertained.
That is what Christmas is all about.
Hearing the laughter,
seeing the smiles,
and listening to the Christmas music.

  1. I don't go to church, but I've found the smaller ones (like the one my dad and stepmom attend) to be the best. A more intimate experience.

  2. Oh I agree - it's the children that make Christmas for me - the wonder and expectation on those beautiful little faces.... waiting for THE day!!!
Children always have lovely voices - a joy to listen to.

Marilyn, I've been working for two weeks - I'm sending you an email at the weekend!!!

  6. Enjoyed seeing the children in your church Christmas program. We went to our grandchildren's Christmas program last Sunday, and this Nana took the camera, but left the battery at home sitting in the charger!!! I'm waiting for my son to E-mail me his pictures. Christmas is, indeed, all about children.

  7. We attended our neighbors' church on Sunday specifically to see their granddaughter in the Christmas festivities. The children were adorable and the music fabulous.

BTW, this church was huge, and it was lovely to see so many young people attending.

    Hugs - Mary

  8. Yes, my favorite thing about Christmas pageants and plays is always that one kid (God bless him or her!) who marches to the beat of a different drummer!
