Is is Time for Tea?

As you can see we have a disgruntled Joey,
but a happy bear.
Is it time for tea yet?
Of course it is always time for tea in my book.
When do you most like to have a cup of tea?
In the morning with my breakfast is my #1 favorite time.
Then mid afternoon a simple mug of something special
often joins me for a quiet break in the day.
So is it time for tea?
YES!

What is in your cup today?

  1. Tea in the morning, yes. Tea in the evening, too, and often late afternoon, when, as Gladys Taber put it, I'm feeling "a little blank."

    Earl Grey is my standard.

  2. English Breakfast Tea for me in the morning. Am liking green tea with flavors in the afternoon.♥♫

  3. I'm a relatively new tea convert and don't really have a particular time of the day when I like to have a cup. My current favorites are Raspberry Zinger and Country Peach from Celestial.

  5. Joey! Are you hiding?
Best time for tea is either in the morning, or middle of the afternoon. And sometimes both. :-) Right now I'm drinking the Prince Of Wales Tea that my sister sent me at Christmas. But I love Earl Grey, Irish Breakfast, Darjeeling Oolong, etc...

  6. That's a cute photo, Marilyn. I'm sitting here just before dinner with a cup of black tea with milk. Very relaxing. Deb

  7. A Joey post! My favorites! But why is he disgruntled? The blanket? He looks like he might be stalking Bear! Very adorable photo!

  8. I am a new tea drinker since about 3 months ago. Susan Branch had a huge influence on me going to tea from coffee. I enjoy coffee but only allow myself to have it once a week. All other days, I can have unlimited amounts of tea. I have found that I ENJOY starting my day with a cup of tea while checking blogs. However, it is so nice to have it while doing my college homework too or anytime, for comfort. I found a new tea last week and I am hooked...it's called Twinings - Blackcurrant breeze black tea.

  9. I love a cup of chamomile and mint at bedtime. Helps me sleep, also like to have a cup after lunch. Joey looks so comfortable, he looks just like my Toby!

  10. Oh, so happy to see sweet Joey! (Hope he's feeling less disgruntled... maybe he's not a morning person? ;o) I love mornings, and morning tea is the best cup. This morning I have a licorice & spice herbal blend...nice & warming on these snowy days we're having this week! Happy Weekend, Marilyn...hope you are feeling better ((HUGS))

  11. Meow to Joey boy!!

Tea - what a huge subject to address. You Marilyn are the expert. I always enjoy a cup around 4 PM which is of course England's 'teatime'. Yesterday at 3 PM was getting my hair cut and was offered a cuppa - ginger something - and it really hit the spot. Here at home it would be Empress Grey, Earl Grey, and more often these days perhaps peppermint or green tea for my tummy!
I rarely drink tea in the morning - still have to have my coffee to get me going!
Here's to the weekend - hope yours is fun.

  12. I've been drinking pu-erh in the evenings. I'm cautious about tea at night but this seems NOT to keep me awake.

  13. Hmmm ... never really thought about my favorite time for tea, but probably the afternoon. After I've been writing a few hours and my brain is fogging up, I go downstairs for tea and perk right up!

  14. Adorable photo! Joey has captured my heart! My mornings start with a mug or black tea or sometimes green... later in the day I must switch to herbals.
