The secret of getting ahead is getting started.
The secret of getting started is breaking your complex,
overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks,
and then starting on the first one.

Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me, have the heart of a wanderer, a storyteller.

Love this. Now, to start.
Ah yes, I needed to read this, hear this + do this! :D
That is a perfect quote for writers! Just today, I set about editing "Chapter One" of my novel. It's overwhelming that I have 75,000 words to edit, but ... one chapter at a time? That I can do!
A great quote for all of us! Where is this image from? Love the tea chest!
Hope your Monday was good - and you had perhaps a cup of good tea such as Darjeeling!!!
I'm back on my Empress Grey these chilly afternoons - and making a big mug full rather than a dainty cup!
Hugs - Mary
That's a good quote. Hope you had a good Monday, Marilyn.
Sometimes the start is just the hardest part, but once we get going... great things can happen! :o) I'm try to motivate myself to finish a last coat of paint on a pair of shelves we're refinishing as part of our upstairs spruce up. Feels like we've been painting a looong time... LOL! LOVE the tea-themed image. Happy Week, Marilyn ((HUGS))
Lovely
Blessings my friend
Love Jeanne
I needed to read it, too, even if it is Tuesday already! Thank you for this inspiration.
Of course Mark has it right. But somehow I have a hard time listening to him and following through!
