Neighbors smile when they walk by our home in February and March.
Can you tell why?
The heart starts out yellow and white , then the purple crocus make their appearance.
It always appears by Valentine's, but is often fuller in March.
I can see on the right we need to add more bulbs.
Sending love from my home to your home as Springtime begins to appear.
More Love:
I just realized I haven't had a give away for a long time and I am well over 1400 posts;
so thought it was about time.
Cleaning off my book shelf this week I see I have two copies of Celtic Teas with Friends
by Elizabeth Knight. March seems like the perfect time to give this book away.
Leave a message on this post, that's all you need to do.
I will draw a name and announce it on March 17th.
If you don't have a blog, please leave some way to notify you if you win.
Happy Weekend, dear friends

Hi Marilyn, what a fun blog post. I bet your neighbors love to go by your home! Would love to enter your give away. I hope we get a wee bit of sunshine today.
Linda
I love your crocus heart! SO pretty! No wonder the neighbors smile!
The first time I saw flowers popping out of the lawn was at NY Botanical Gardens, last fall. But they just had a circle, I Love the Heart!!!
Truly Inspirational!
So pretty and screaming spring! Congrats on all those posts and I have that book so not me but someone will love it!
What a pretty grouping of springtime love! And I'd also "love" to be entered in your giveaway, as I do not have that book!
I should drive by your home just to see your 'lawn' heart. If I should win your drawing, I will give the book to Karen! (But, I already won one drawing!)
Hi Marilyn. I was going to leave a comment anyway and your tempting give away makes it all the more enticing. Sweet little heart. I tries this a couple of seasons ago with annuals and failed. Utterly. Me and my brown thumb were staying true to form.
Pure JOY!
So sweet. I love it!
How delightful! That is such a creative idea! I saw your comment on Tea and Talk so just thought I'd pop by for a visit.
Soul therapy the beautiful springtime flowers. I love everything you post.
Blessings my sweet friend.
Happy International Women's day
Love Jeanne
I love the little heart, right smack in the middle of your yard! How clever and how "lovely!" The crocus reminds me of my late friend Kyle. He would plant crocus at random in his yard and every spring, up they would pop! I always called crocus sightings like that "Kyles." You made me smile at that memory -- and at your wonderful heart!
Look at that bountiful heart full of crocus! Beautiful! (No need to toss my name in the hat - I have a copy already.)
Oh, Marilyn, what a charming addition to your landscape, and in a heart-shape too :) And yes, I'd love to be entered into your draw - the book would be a special gift for a special sister.
Hi Marilyn...how lovely, I stopped in to say hello and discovered beautiful crocuses and a giveaway. I am taking this as a good start to my morning.
I love spring in the blogging world...everyone has a an extra step in their writing..it is joyful.
Thanks so much for stopping by Collage of Life..wonderful to meet you and Jeanne!
Happy Sunday..from Saigon.
Jeanne ;)
That heart of flowers is extremely awesome!! I am going to be recycling your idea. Looking forward to the drawing.
Your crocus heart is absolutely darling! No wonder neighbors walk by and smile. It's a great idea.

Oh, that heart-shape of crocus makes my heart tingle! I love this, Marilyn...*sigh*... Thank you for the fun of the giveaway. It is too expensive to send to me over here, but just wanted to share in your many, many posts celebration. It's always such a happy time to visit you here--thank you for all the love & light you share here. :o) ((HUGS))
What a fun thing to do with your front lawn. I'm sure anyone walking by smiles and feels a little lighter in spirit.
I'd love to throw my hat in the ring for this giveaway. Thanks.

Oh that is wonderful! I wish I had neighbors that did that! Actually, I just wish it would stop snowing!!! It's mid March! Ugh...
What beautiful flowers! I'm rather jealous--the weather where I live still hasn't decided if it is winter or spring. I would love to be entered in your drawing :).
Oh, I was looking for this book at the library today and they didn't have it. I will add my name to the pot. Thank you for the chance to win!
Happy St. Patrick's Day.

My great-grandfather immigrated from Ireland, and I've made a quilt about his life. I would absolutely love to win your drawing as I am a tea lover and quilter both!
