My heart does yearn and though we are seeing signs of Spring,
I can't wait for the flowers to come in full array.
I just want to surround myself with their beauty
in every shape, scent, and delight.
Oh yes, my heart yearns for flowers for they bring a smile
on my face and a song in my heart.
Do you yearn for flowers?
Do you love them as I do?
Do you have a favorite flower you are anticipating?
All very pretty, but I especially love that glorious Morning Glory!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes! Some peonies from my parents were transplanted either three or four years ago (can't remember which), so I'm very much hoping they will actually bloom this year!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your dahlias too. They are on my gardening wish list!
I just read Beth's April Fool's joke and I thought you must have done the same! Fortunately, yours are just a wish -- and a mighty fine one!
ReplyDeleteWe are still buried in snow here but I'm looking forward to the daffodils which are usually first to bloom.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, love all flowers too….as you know after taking me to those beautiful gardens last Summer! I have a few blooms now, jonquils, creeping phlox, hyacinths and snowdrops - blossom trees are bursting open everywhere - hit 82 today!
ReplyDeleteThank you so, so much dear for the mail surprise today - such a pretty card, the seeds will be scattered soon, and here's to you with a nice cup of tea!
Happy spring Marilyn.
Love and hugs - Mary
Well, your photos of those beautiful flowers sure have me yearning now. I'm an orchid guy for some reason.
ReplyDeleteSpring always makes me wish that I was more of a gardenener. I'm waiting for my snowball bush to bloom, and will really enjoy the few lilacs we will have. I just wish the seasonal bloom lasted longer!
ReplyDeleteI love when my Snowball blooms in the spring.
ReplyDeleteThese photos just hint at what is yet to come... goodbye long cold dreary winter, Hello! spring and beautiful blossoms full of color. Anticipation....
ReplyDeleteI was never so happy as when i saw daffodils and crocuses erupt into bloom. After the snow, it was a joy. And dont even get me started on the tulip tree.
ReplyDeleteLilac time - that's what I'm waiting for. In the meantime, there are the tulips to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteAll of my favorites --- pretty blue morning glories --- tall stalks of hollyhocks --- and roses, always, roses. I'm waiting for spring too!
