Stroll through my Garden

The first sightings of roses high above the trellis in the morning light.
 Lady banksiae 'Alba Plena' is the official name.
My "live-in gardener" says that Tucson, Arizona has the largest plant of this rose.
It is 40 feet long.   Now I learned something new this morning.
 In full bloom by the garden house.
 A new family residing here in the big tree.
 The roses almost ready to bloom,
but the rhododendron can't be beat for color.
 Can you see all the buds on the roses?
Soon there will be a profusion of color and delight.
Columbine tucked sweetly in a corner just waiting to be discovered.

    All looks fabulous Marilyn - I really wish I had a place for a Lady Banks rose - my garden is just over-stuffed, kinda like me!!!

    90F today, up early tomorrow to water as it will be very hot again.

    P.S. That's an amazing 'rhodie' - mine hasn't bloomed YET. My azaleas are over and yesterday I pruned and fertilized ready for next spring!

    Oh, the first roses... those are some of the sweetest, aren't they?! Your rhododendrons are AMAZING!! Always amazes me how tall they can grown... azaleas too. Sweet columbine--love that light, lemony yellow. Thank you for the tour, Marilyn! ;o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

    So very beautiful, Marilyn. The garden must give you a lot of pleasure with so many mature shrubs and trees especially at this time of the year and with more roses to look forward to very soon. The little columbine is such a delicate shade of lemon yellow.
