Boo!

Halloween is coming to a neighborhood near you.
Have you decorated?
Do you like to play a little with Halloween?
I have been walking with my camera quite a bit lately
and found these delightful ghosts nearby.
Beside the ghosts, what do you see?

I am taking an online photography class right now
and curious.  Do you see the red?
In the class we are told to always photograph red,
as it helps make a picture pop?
What do you think?

Happy searching for the red!

Love that tip! I didn't see the red but when you point it out, it makes such a difference to the photo!

One little red flower - adds vibrancy. I don't really decorate for Halloween, but have treats for the kids who come to our door and love seeing my little grandkids dressed up.

It seems Halloween decorations are more and more each year. The decorations look great.
I did not see the red until you pointed it out.

I know why Ghost Number Two is frowning, he is next to the sprinkler and his sheet will get wet! Nothing sucks like being dead AND wet!

Very FUN with the ghost quartet! Halloween is pretty much an "imported holiday" as they call it here. Kids dress up a bit, and there is some trick or treating, or at schools. But it's not a big deal here. I miss it! No decorates, as there aren't many decorations to be had for Halloween, or fall in general, really. That is very interesting about taking photos, and looking for the color red. I can see how that makes sense--it does draw the eye... I'll have to think about this! Happy Days, Marilyn ((HUGS))

This is a cute display. I have a ghost that lights up by the front door and other decor I put out.
I've not heard of the red rule in any of the photography classes I've taken but that lonesome red flower sure does pop out.

The red reminds me of when I was in camera club and the big thing was always a little red something! It almost got to be funny because everyone would try to add red to their photo and we'd all yell out "red boat!" or whatever it was! A good time in life.

I don't decorate outside apart from a wreath and a flying witch I hang on the mailbox. But I suspect all my dead black-eyed Susans are scary enough! (Along with the rest of the yard!) Inside is another matter as you will soon see!
