Tea Time

In the throes of recovery tea has not tasted that good to me.
I decided I needed to take a different direction than going to my favorite blacks;
so tried something lighter.
Sipping from my cup this morning is a Jasmine Oolong from Bingley's Teas.
Oh, the softness of the jasmine along with a lovely oolong just made it alright and delicious.
The softness of this tea just warmed my heart and made me happy.
This is definitely the tea for me right now and so thankful to have it in my cupboard.
Visit my friend at Bingley's Teas for teas inspired by Jane Austin.

I am fond of jasmine flavoured teas. Will you explain what that is in the photo please?
Hope your recovery is not as painful now Marilyn.

I'm not very big on strong tea, so something lovely and light or herbal, more like a tisane would really get me. With a little orange or raspberry, yes it would!

Reading your post I would love to have a cup right now.
I followed your link to Bingley's Tea and have signed up for their newsletter. I hope one of our specialty tea stores stock it - I'll let you know!
Your little mouse friend Seth is a sweetie - "Guard of the Grateful Jar" is a very important role!
You've inspired me to write down some of my own grateful thoughts in a dedicated jar – a lovely idea thank you.
Now I wonder if Seth has a cousin in NZ he could recommend to play the role of Guard of my Grateful Jar? Let me know if he has!
Reading your lovely post is a great start to my day dear Marilyn!

Jasmine Oolong is Austin's current favorite tea. I'm glad the tea was enjoyable to you. Best wishes for a quick and full recovery.

A "tea that warms the heart and makes one happy" sounds perfect Marilyn. Glad you found one you are enjoying. Perhaps your taste buds are a little off kilter since your surgery - hope you continue to get well, and quickly!

Love, Mary

Oh, so nice... I find jasmine tea is a great lift-er when down and out--the brightness and fragrance add immediate cheer. :o) LOVE your tea bowl... Be well, and keep the tea flowing... ((HUGS))

I am glad you found a tea that is suiting you. A recovery without tea just doesn't sound like a good idea!
