From Where I Sit

From where I sit,
I can see forever.
Surrounded by the beauty of the day.
Reminiscing on the past.
Looking toward the future.
For today we can only count on.
Today I will look at the Beauty,
the JOY, and the Wonder of my Surroundings.
I will savor and take it in,
this one day and only this one day 
may it be a one of Delight.

    I have to tell you that I am so surprised to see the Red Hot Poker plant growing by the sea, as those have already come and gone this year in my front yard with lots of Georgia red clay in it! I love that the little bird is perching on one. Lovely!
