The sea once it casts its spell,
holds on in its net of wonder forever.
~Jacques-Yves Cousteau
Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me, have the heart of a wanderer, a storyteller.

Your photo has me wishing that I could bundle up, play hooky from school and go for a long, long walk on that gorgeous beach. It would blow all the cobwebs away, for sure!
Marilyn, that view looks so familiar - I love your Oregon coastline.
We'll be at the NC coast after Thanksgiving - hopefully by then this incessant, depressing rain will have stopped. I feel like I'm living under permanent clouds - not good at all.
Hugs - Mary
Is that Twin Rocks? I haven't been to that part of the coast for many years. I miss it. There is a Friends camp there that my Grandpa help build in the late 30s. That was the day before all the power tools!
So gorgeous! Makes me want to get in the car and head right over there now. There's never a bad day at the beach - even when it's raining!

Soooo true... the sea "haunts" us always... Love me a time at the beach. :) BEAUTIFUL post/image, Marilyn! ((HUGS))
Fabulous seascape, Marilyn. Makes me miss the ocean -- haven't seen that in too many years!
Oh yes, so true! I think I've been drawn to the sea from a very young age. Maybe not quite like Cousteau, but still … !
