Over my morning tea today I thought of you and my word for the year, Grateful.
The love came through the mail, but also through the internet wires.
I am grateful for each of you this year.
"A grateful heart is a beginning of greatness.
It is
an expression of humility.
It is a foundation for the development of
such
virtues as prayer, faith, courage, contentment,
happiness, love,
and well-being."
~James E. Faust
Have you thought of a word for next year?
Has it captured your attention?
I will share my word later this week.
In some ways I am tiptoeing toward it.
Have a great week.
i love quotes and this one is beautiful…..
ReplyDeleteI have not yet found my word for the year - or it has not yet found me. I'm waiting eagerly!
ReplyDeleteI've tried to think of a word -- nothing is sticking yet and none did last year. Maybe a word isn't what I should do... or maybe it just hasn't popped in yet!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to bring myself to decide on only one word for a whole year, but golly, I sure love to watch for yours at this time each year!
ReplyDeleteI have perhaps thought of my word, and although it will be my first time doing this I really like the idea, so may join in! It's short and to the point - life is too complicated as we age and few things are that important to worry about constantly - I want/need much less - and what I do want most seems to be for others in my life. . . . . . . so I'll share my little word later!
ReplyDeleteLove is coming your way for the New Year Marilyn - it would be lovely if our paths could cross again - I think of that a lot. Mainly though, stay healthy and be happy - I do think joy in everyday things will keep us going.
Hugs to you, J and the family from both of us.

I have a word for next year and I'm tiptoeing toward it, too. That's a great phrase to describe how I feel about this one. I'll be sharing mine soon. Can't wait to hear what your word is.
