In celebration of the Tardis teapot arriving in California there was a tea party today.
The invitation arrived with delight.
There was Adagio "Tardis" tea and the doctor's favorites,
Jammie Dodger's and Jelly Babies!
A miniature Doctor Who in training came for tea
wearing a scarf so long it touched the ground,
for you know a former Doctor Who had a very long scarf too.
There was nibbling and sipping for Doctor Who must know how to do these things.
Then the tea also served to warm the hands just right.
It was a delight this Doctor Who in training said.
Next time won't you join him in a bit of nibbling and sipping of tea.
Happy Weekend, dear friends!
May there be plenty of tea parties in your future.

ADORABLE post, Marilyn!
Such a perfect celebration of the traveling teapot event today! So excited to watch D as he grows up and learns the proper art of tea!
Oh Marilyn, I love this! D. is growing up so fast! LOVE the pictures of him! What a very special teatime. xoxo
Baby Doctor!!!
Marilyn, what a delightful way to spend a day! My Grams, who has been gone many, many years, taught me the love of tea. It was all she ever drank. I have passed that love to my daughter and will soon start my grandson(s) on their journey. Thank you for sharing.
What a delightful tea companion. He's growing up so fast.
More fun with 'the young man'. Thank you for sharing your delightful teatime. You have a sweet friend in your grandson. Love the scarf!
Oh, my heart is pounding with joy at this post! A little Doctor indeed -- and an adorable one (though Tom Baker and David Tennant were pretty cute!). That last photo should be entered into a cute kid contest. Hands down winner. I love how you are sharing your love of tea with this future Doctor, all adorable in his scarf. (I have a Doctor Who-type scarf too -- probably more than one!)
What a sweet little guy! Enjoyed seeing him enjoy his tea party. Love his scarf!
Sips and Smiles
D, you are the perfect Dr. Who in training!
Marilyn, thank you so much for sharing this! I'm delighted that yet another new generation has enjoyed my little tea party in a box!
I'm late to participate, just got the package today, but will play along soon! I love your interpretation.
You are such a great Nana/Grama!
Little D just gets cuter by the day - and what great pix you took of him wrapped up in the adorable muffler! I think there will be a lot of tea drinking in this young man's future - thanks to Grandma!
Hope you're better by now dear.
Mary x
What a sweet, sweet little face. Thanks for the smiles!
