Walk with Me and Mimi

Do you like walking in the rain?
There has been rain occasionally this past week.
It didn't really keep me from walking,
but life sometimes gets in the way.
So today I am living vicariously through the comics.
Many of you don't know that Mimi is what I
am called by my grandson and daughter;
so Mimi it is here.
My inner-child walking in the rain.

Do you have different names for the different parts of you?
Mimi is my loving child.
Myrtle is my bad mouth woman,
the one willing to say anything.

So come along with me and Mimi and go walking today.

  1. This is fun, Marilyn! Mimi is what I called my grandmother... I couldn't say grandma... LOL! Hubby TJ & I have a few pet names for each other, and my sister calls me something other than my name, and so does her child... not sure if my niece really knows real name... haha! I don't mind rainy days, but I'm not fond of walking in a downpour... a gentle drizzle is OK, though... Happy Week, my friend ((HUGS))

  3. I didn't know your knick name was Mimi. I haven't read the comics in so long. I used to read them all the time growing up. It seems early on in the year to have rain. But it's a good thing. It cleans everything and makes it fresh again.

  4. How fun to have a name for the naughty part of you! I'm sure you are mostly Mimi! That's such a sweet name for a grandmother - quite French.
