A mountain stream.
Though I cannot flee
From the world of corruption,
I can prepare tea
With water from a mountain stream
And put my heart to rest.

Beautiful quote...
Beautiful sentiment...
Beautiful photos....
Oh, I love streams and brooks, Marilyn. They are so calming. These pictures are so pretty with the mountains in the distance. And I absolutely LOVE this quote. May I use it someday? One of my favorite posts of yours, Marilyn.

Marilyn, this is such a timely quote - we do seem to have a world of corruption, however we still also have a world of beauty in many places where Nature still rules. . . . . . .and we take the time to seek out.
Happy week my dear friend.

I can see why you shared it -- and it was quite perfect. I love the teacup photo, too!
What beautiful images, Marilyn! And the quote is a good one for the times we live in. No matter what happens, we can always make a cup of tea. And a cup of tea can "cure" things, even if just for a moment. :) Such fun you bring poetry to your tea group--love that! Tea and poetry is always a great combo. Happy Days ((HUGS))
The log makes a lovely natural table on which to put your teacup. It must be an honour to read out a poem or a quote at the end of the tea ceremony gatherings. A calming thought to reflect on as one goes on one's way is a good idea.
"Sip, savor, and steep your way to tranquility. It's tea time!"
