Touched by Fairies

And the earth said hello!
Early spring and the daffodils are dancing for me.
Their ballerina skirts twirl in the breeze.
They shout to me of sunshiny days.
They beckon to the fairies to come dance under the moonlight sky.
They sing to me of the hope for Spring.
And I just dance and chase fairies in the garden.
It pulls at my heart strings and says walk, go discover spring time.
And so I went walking to find spring time in my neighborhood.
Their skirts twirled in the breeze.
They hid under the leaves.
Their colors sang to me.
And I laughed with delight.
Do you see the fairies dancing?
Are their skirts twirling in the breeze where you are?
If not, I hope these glimpses encourage you.
Spring is on it's way!

  1. Greetings from the land of snow here! Snowing all day and very steadily, pretty hard. These beautiful blooms are a tonic!

  2. Yes, appears spring is starting to appear in your neighborhood Marilyn. Here too but such a lot of rain so
it's hard to get out and enjoy the days. Tomorrow sunshine returning so perhaps a neighborhood walk will be
enjoyable (I'll look for dancing fairies in the gardens) - but still chilly so perhaps I'll get to wear gloves for the first time this winter! Amazing.

  3. Oh, the yellow Daffodils are a sure sign of Spring. I love those Purple dainty flowers too. Yes, the first photo DOES look like fairies dancing. So nice that you took the time to find Springtime around your neighborhood, Marilyn.

  5. Always love seeing your spring arrive so early! We have had a mild winter and little tufts of green are poking their heads above ground, but we still have several weeks until we enjoy the beautiful colorful flowers that announce spring has arrived. Until then - yours are a beautiful sight!
