Saturday I went in search of colours.
Britt-Arnhild at Britt-Arnhild's House in the Woods was searching for colours in spring time
and it inspired me to go searching with my camera.
The Beaverton Farmer's Market seemed like a good place to search.
There are many farmer's markets around, but I had never visited this one.
I had the opportunity to meet another blogger, Cathy at Wives and Knives.
Cathy sells lovely nuts at the market.
How fun it is to connect with fellow bloggers face to face and also enjoy
the colours of the day.
The peonies particularly enchanted me,
but then aren't the bundles of asparagus just beautiful?
Do you have a farmer's market in your neighborhood?
I love having the opportunity to support our local growers.
What a treasure to find beautiful flowers and produce grown nearby and so fresh.
Enjoy exploring colours of spring time today.

Marilyn, how I wish I could have joined you at the market!! Have been yearning for Cathy's nuts since I first found her blog. Love the colors. I guess that is one reason spring has always been my favorite season.
We have a couple of Farmer's Markets near us, and I love to shop there. Flowers to brighten the day, and fruit and vegetables that taste of sunshine. I think it is the best way to shop..!
Wow, what a great collage, Marilyn! Your photos are just splendid!
Glorious! What a spectacular group of delights! I love the peonies, too - just these tight balls of petals ready to burst into bloom!
Thank you for sharing these delights!

Your photos are wonderful, Marilyn. It was so nice to meet you too. Thank you so much for stopping by my booth to visit. I think the Beaverton market is great and hope you will come back again to visit.
Your colours are bright and beautiful Marilyn :-)
Our farmers market will be starting soon, every Saturday and Tuesday on the waterfront. I love strolling through and the fresh veggies are wonderful!
Simply Stunning!

Brava, Marilyn! This is a positively lovely mosaic.
I'm thrilled that farmer's markets are springing up all over country. It's a fantastic, ecologically-sound way to eat locally.
Your colors collage is beautiful. I would love to have those gorgeous peonies growing in my yard.
Can't wait for the Farmers Markets in Indiana to open up! Thanks for sharing the lovely collage with us.
