My favorite Golden Book as a child was the Bunny Book.
It had the colors of the rainbow in it and the story was so precious.
I am playing with the Mac(Attack)Tweets today and thought of this book and the rainbow.
I would design a macaron in colors of the rainbow. When I see them lined up in the sweet shops they look like rainbows to me. Don't they remind you of a rainbow?

This is so lovely and sweet! I loved those cardboard-bound books and this one actually looks very familiar! Ah, those were the days! And the macs are perfect! The green and pink does look like the book. Wonderful and thanks for playing along with us!

I am going to have to look for this one. I've never read it. Oh, I do love Little Golden Books. I posted about them my first year of blogging. There is something so nostalgic and wonderful about them, isn't there?
Oh, I loved Golden Books as a child! I don't recall this Bunny book though...will have to look that one up. Or ask my Mom...she remembers everything! LOVE the macarons...mmm... Happy Day, Marilyn :o) ((HUGS))
I had not thought of them looking like a rainbow but you are right! They're such pretty things, I don't think I've yet seen a color of macaron I didn't just love!
