What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?
This question was asked not to long ago by Relyn of come sit by my fire.
Could you hang by your toes or even want to?
What are your heart longings?
This is a question I have struggled with.
My list is:
sky dive
skateboard
ocean surf
travel to exotic places
speak in front of people
write a book
photograph people
sing and dance
Some things on my list are more scary than some.
Putting myself out there in front of people, being bold and confident; that scares me the most of all.
What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Oh, my friend - I think I'm right there with you on some of these things. Thank you for the challenge - I'll work on my list and share it soon!
You go, girl - try something on your list!

Here's my biggie, Marilyn - submit my photography for show in a juried competition. THAT terrifies me.
I think you can celebrate putting yourself out there - via this blog!
for me it's often not about failing....as failing is okay and i can just chalk it up to learning....
for me it's about getting hurt....a broken leg or arm or a head injury....or even death.
so sky diving....there's no way i could fail at this unless i crashed on my landing and broke something or died....
same with skateboarding or surfing....
now writing the book i want to write....that's the scary thing for me.....because YES i could truly fail at that :)
my squirrels and chipmunks love those
helicopter maple seeds!
I'd have to give that some thought. I've done a couple on your list - Zumba fitness dance and exotic travel (if you consider Belize or Roatan exotic).
Speaking in front of people really scares me too, as does anything that I consider life threatening (such as sky diving).
Steph is right - you are already putting yourself out there via blogging and doing a fine job of it too!
Our squirrels are enjoying the same picnic in our back yard.
What a great list!
Fabulous list
Fabulous you

I am not sure what I would do if I couldn't fail. However, I love it that you stopped by my place and I love feeding my squirrels. I hope you'll come by again. By the way, I am a bit envious of your concert! I bet it was a blast.
....be able to play guitar and piano like it was second nature, and sing like an American Idol finalist.
Of course that would be after I accomplished world peace.
If I weren't such a chicken, I would love to go on a cruise. anywhere really, but out in the ocean with a storm and no land in site terrifies me!
You know just what I would do. What I wanted to say here was, "Yeah, you!!" I think you will be amazed at how many of these things you actually begin doing. Shocked and amazed!
