Sacred Spaces
To me walking on the beach is a sacred space
A place where I feel closest to God
A place where we can chat
and where I can cry
Where do you feel closest to God?
Where do you go to your Sacred Space?
Where do you go to chat or to cry?
Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me, have the heart of a wanderer, a storyteller.

This truly looks like a sacred place. Any window to the outdoors is an invitation to feel a closeness to God...
I can feel close to God anywhere! But walking on the beach seems to bring a relax calm to life. That's one place I slow down long enough to hear His voice!
I go outside for solitude and peace to pray and meditate. Connecting with nature is like a direct connection with God.
Gardens, in general, provide this for me as do wild places like ocean beaches. Great photo!
Oh yes...when I am out in nature is where I feel closest..away from the hustle and bustle of life. Hugs
I have travel all over the world and I'm always in awe of God's beauty. I know God is always with me, but I will admit I feel very close to him when I'm outside enjoying nature. Walking on a crisp fall day as the leaves are changing colors, sitting on a beach as the sun goes down, watching the wonders of snow silently falling.....These intimate times with the Lord remind me that God is in control of everything! We do serve a mighty God!
GORGEOUS photo, Marilyn! Like yourself, I feel a great communion with God at the beach, and in fact most anywhere outdoors and in nature. Beautiful though churches & temples are...the great outdoors is the best cathedral I know, and best way to feel closets to The Source of ALL! :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
The beach is a sacred place for me as well, and I'll be going in two weeks and can't wait! There's something about seeing your small self next to that great big deep and wide body of water that just automatically seems to help put life in perspective.
I'm closest at the lake. Or in the woods by the lake. It's where I belong.
!!! oh marilyn! this is wonderful!!!! jealous, jealous! :)
