It was a fun filled weekend last week and there was definitely playtime here.
Oh I had the best time exploring the Barn House annual marketplace (fair) at their farm.
My camera was ready and I did play.
The Barn House sale is listed in the Food and Wine Magazine as one of the top 20 flea markets in America.
Since I usually share tea on Thursday, here is what I found:
Don't you just love the ambiance created here, a teapot tucked in a box
just waiting for tea in bed.
The gorgeous tea chests were found at the Garden Girl's booth.
She came from Yakima, Washington just to play along with the other vendors.
You know I love transferware and I loved these old cups.
They didn't have saucers, so I passed them up.
Now I am wondering why?
I love the rustic feel of them.
Oh the vignettes at this show were all too fun.
This teapot looks like it has had some loving with many cups of tea.
Then of course if we are having tea, a cupcake would be nice!
Tomorrow I will share a few more pictures from this very fun antique fair.

In my opinion, antiques and tea go hand in hand.
What a lovely fair! How I would have enjoyed being there with you, playing along :-)
The best kind of shopping ---- with a camera!
That was fun.
That looks like so much fun, Marilyn. I put it on my calendar to watch for this event next year. I love a good flea market.

Love that stack of tea boxes... and everything else, too! Thanks for sharing!
The pillow is pretty.
Oh, I am *in love* with that worn old teapot with the roses! That would be great as artwork on a book cover!
