Teatime at the Park

"Strange how a teapot can
represent at the same time,
the comforts of solitude and
the pleasures of company."

~ Author Unknown

Each summer my daughter and I make a time for tea at the park.
She reminded me recently we hadn't had our time with tea this year.
So off to the park we went one morning this week.
It was a lovely morning, warm, but with a light breeze.
As we visited it warmed up considerably and we had to move to the shade.
Having tea in the park on a morning such as this is pure delight.
How lovely to sit over sips of tea and enjoy the conversation
with someone special.

I do hope you are finding opportunities this summer
to share a cup of tea and conversation with someone special.

What a beautiful tradition Marilyn, it makes me wish I had a daughter to share tea with. It shouldn't stop me from going by myself though, it sounds so perfect.

What a lovely idea! I've never taken tea to the park before, but I do believe I'd like to!

You made it all look so pretty and inviting, love the tea bowl, they are similar to those I brought back from Thailand - and even fresh Cosmos blooms. AND, goodness me, macarons too, how amazing.
I want to picnic that way soon!

Hope all is going well and that you and your daughter had a great time - well of course you did, no need to wonder!!!!!

Happy weekend Marilyn. Mary X

What a lovely way to enjoy tea. I don't think I've ever taken tea outdoors, other than on my deck at home. Sounds very pleasant.
