Now this is a sure give away.
The sun was amazing.
A famous island just off shore.
A palace?
Now for sure you must know where I was for the long weekend.
Several months ago as I realized how old I would be on my next birthday
I decided I needed something to help me look forward to it.
A trip was planned for a long weekend just for me to explore and play.
San Francisco, by the bay, is a part of my heart and
on another day I will share more.
So I say if there is something you are not looking forward to,
plan something special just for you to make it all that more special.

Awesome photos Marilyn, what a special birthday treat. I turn 60 next year, and really want to do something special before that. I haven't decided yet, but I would love to go on a trip with my sisters.

What a wonderful way to celebrate. When my son and I make an almost annual trip to the Mayo Clinic, we have a special place we like to eat out as something to look forward to.
