For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and love
and of a sound mind.

Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me, have the heart of a wanderer, a storyteller.

That's a good verse to remember, these days! Thanks for sharing it.
This is a favorite verse of mine. And it is a good one to remember often! Thank you for sharing it today.

That is a GREAT quote!
Thank you for this scripture to think about as I go to rest at the end of the day. I would love to walk in that garden with the parterres of box hedge filled with rose bushes and the beautiful pairs of trees changing colour. All very calming.
Love this verse..it is a comfort isn't it?
Hope your November days are moving along with JOY....can't believe how time is flying. Hugs.
This quote...how much I needed it today after a moment of real uncertainty, upset earlier. We have been give love, not fear. I feel strong just thinking about that. :o) Thank you, Marilyn! LOVELY image this one... Happy Day ((HUGS))
Beautiful indeed. Much love and many blessings and I wish you a beautiful Thanksgiving week full of the blessings from above.
What a lovely balanced garden. And what a lovely photo you have taken, of it.
wonderful quote. Those trees remind me of all the trees here uprooted in this weekend's storm. You're lucky those are standing tall. I was lucky -- no damage. Not everyone was...
Such a strengthening thing to remember.
A beautiful image to reflect on the Scripture verse.

I love walking in parks such as this - where symmetry is evident but still the prettiness of the rose beds gives color. I'm thinking you took us to this one near your house right dear? We did enjoy Portland's roses so much.
Mary, with love.
Now THAT is a verse I have quoted to myself repeatedly this year!
Lovely - and the garden is full of symmetry!
