Welcome to November!
Let's have some tea.
Remnants of October still remain,
but rainy weather is on it's way.
My tea choice this morning is something bold.
Bold is what is needed to face the cold winter months.
On the package of my tea it says:
Sou Chong, Choice Selected China Tea
From time immemorial, Tea has been the national drink of the
Chinese people. From their point of view. Tea is everybody's
drink and indispensable at any time. It's strength has a
sweetening influence, its flavour is subtle and enchanting.
It has beneficial effect on body and mind.
"SOU CHONG" is best of China Teas for foreign taste.
So this morning I am having Sou Chong, not smoked, tea.
It smells of a bonfire and reminds me of times in the
past on a cold evening sitting outside under the trees,
warming myself by an open fire.
Welcome to November!
Sit awhile and have a cup of "bold" tea.

That's a beautiful tea pot, and the cup looks so black that it looks like a top hat!
Oh yes, in November, we need a warm and comforting drink... To get us through the rather-dull-ness of November. :-)))
Hunker down!
Nov. is here!
Tessa~
Happy November, Marilyn!
This is elegant, simple and ever so beautiful. Happiness this November -- and beyond, of course!
What a beautiful tea pot! I wish I could have some bold tea! I still can't drink black tea and the herbals aren't that "bold!"

P.S. - Also wanted to thank you for your interest in our family wedding and your sweet comments.

I need no encouragement to sit for a while and sip tea - any hour of the day is tea time for me!!!!!!!
Such lovely images, love the white teapot with the little bird perched on the lid!
Also the black bird (a Raven?) he/she is a great Halloween prop.
I also saw one over at Mary's "A Breath of Fresh Air"!
Enjoy your Sunday

I do so dearly love November. My own darling child has a birthday in just one week. So many surprised to prepare.
I loved the way you styled these photos! And yes, I'm very happy it's November as well!
Warm Welcome to November Marilyn. I always enjoy your post though I don't always comment on them. They refresh my soul daily.
Gorgeous fall-like vignettes! Wish I could come over for a cuppa, as the Brits say! :)
Your photos take my breath away. I keep looking at them. Each element speaks for itself. Yet they work together so well to make a creative an beautiful whole.
