"All true tea lovers not only like their tea strong,
but like it a little stronger with each year that passes."
Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me, have the heart of a wanderer, a storyteller.

That quote makes sense.
The older we get, our taste buds may get a bit "worn out." -grin-
Orrrrr... We just build up a tolerance, for stronger and stronger and stronger...
Beautiful photos...
I don't like my tea strong. I like it more like hot flavored water!
Yikes, I don't like my tea strong. Does that not make me a true tea lover? haha But I do love this red tea cup and saucer. It's sooooo pretty.

ps...I really like your "Monday tea quote" posts, Marilyn.
LOVE these Monday tea quotes, Marilyn! And beautiful is your red china! I like me a strong brew, specially in winter. Something about a more robust flavor/blend lifts me in the morning and afternoon. So much depends on the tea though, of course, as some just don't lend themselves to long brewing time. But there probably is something about our taste buds withering with age and we need to make "adjustments" to flavors. ;) ((HUGS))
Oh how lovely and especially English transferware!
