Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me, have the heart of a wanderer, a storyteller.

The sweet trillium and camellia are so lovely, but those brilliant tulips are awesome!
Marilyn - I hope you can stay put. Like us the garden does become more difficult to care for however we too will probably hire help next year - perhaps then we can stay here a lot longer. Sitting on the porch yesterday evening we both realized it would be awful living without a garden - at least for now!
Enjoy your week dear friend.

Stunning!
I've always loved this quote, Marilyn. Your Tulips are beautiful. It looks like the sun was shining on them in that second photo. Your garden must be so charming and a delight for you. I miss mine a lot, but I showed a rose today that was in my garden at our old house. : )

That quote is sooo much FUN... have always love that one! :) And how gorgeous are your flower portraits, Marilyn! Here the earth is finally laughing a bit and things are really greening up and coming into bloom--the magic of spring at last! Happy Days, my friend ((HUGS))
I've always loved that quote and your photos are exquisite. What smashing poppies -- so bright! It's lovely indeed in your world!
I love this season in the garden, Marilyn. The flowers in your garden are all beautiful.
Tulips especially give me joy from the tight bud appearing to the open cup often showing pretty markings. A good quote that makes me smile.
