Announcing!
Marmalady's has just released a new sewing pattern for quilters that love tea.
It is a Tea Serving Mat.
It is an original design by me.
Fun to place under the teapot and cups for serving.
It can be found on marmaladys.etsy.com right now and in the near future on marmaladys.com

Yea, you finished it. Is this the pattern you spoke of for the magazine too?
Yes, the Tea in Texas Magazine inspired me to make this one.
Your tea serving mat is great. I love the fabric choices and the side borders. The teapot with machine quilted steam is lovely.
I love your blog
I plan to visit daily

This is beautiful! Nice design! I'm going to forward this to my friend who loves tea, and loves to quilt!
To answer your question - Yes, those are all my dishes. If you look closely, you will see I use the same ones over and over, but team them with other things!
My china inventory: Old Country Roses, OCR Christmas plates (small), yellow Fiesta casual china. Eight white plates from Dollar Tree, Six clear (depression look) plates from Dollar Tree, the four yellow plates and salad plates shown last week. The four green flower shaped plates bought at Marshall's. Oh, the four black plates bought at Hobby Lobby. All of the latter didn't cost much at all (two and three dollars each, or a dollar each of Dollar Tree!) Storage was a problem, I was afraid the cabinets would fall off the wall! LOL! I keep most of them in the bottom of the china cabinet (with doors.)
My roosters are posted.

What a pretty tea serving mat, congratulations to you. What a wonderful idea!
It is absolutely beautiful, Marilyn! I love the 'flying geese' sides --- and the teapot with the wafting steam. How very, very pretty! I wish you much success in sales!!! And please, more tea designs for stitched items!
